As a Structural Forensic Specialist, you will engage in initial response property loss evaluations for clients in the insurance industry.

Your role will involve identifying the cause and origin of structural failures in both residential and commercial properties, providing assessments and investigations for disasters such as storm damage, hurricanes, and floods.


Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive forensic evaluations to ascertain the cause and origin of various structural failures.
- Perform safety evaluations following catastrophic events, concentrating on structures impacted by storm damage or other disasters.
- Execute thorough inspections utilizing your expertise in both fieldwork and research-based settings.
- Deliver signed and sealed detailed reports outlining the cause and origin of damage to clients.
- Oversee multiple projects and take charge of project execution within budget and timeline constraints.
- Maintain direct communication with clients regarding project progress.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
- PE Licensed in Georgia (multiple states preferred).

Engineering Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in applying structural engineering principles during investigative processes.

Safety Awareness:
- Emphasize safe practices while conducting site surveys, especially after disasters that may present unstable conditions.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Exceptional analytical and field inspection skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience in structural design, analysis, and inspections.
- IIBEC credentials (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range ($90,000 - $120,000) based on restoration experience and client development capabilities.
