The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations and schedule implementation of the Operating Room, ensuring the fiscal, equipment, and personnel resources are utilized effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations and schedule implementation of the Operating Room
- Ensure the fiscal, equipment, and personnel resources are utilized effectively and efficiently
- Assure quality patient care, including meeting patient needs and implementing the interdisciplinary surgical plan
- Maintain accreditation, infection control, laser safety, patient safety, sterilization, dress, and AORN standards
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, management, administration, physicians, and community to achieve mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives
- At least 3 years of OR experience (including orthopedics) and prior leadership experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
