Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including interviewing, selecting, training, and disciplining employees as needed.
  • Conduct pre-shift and monthly departmental meetings to communicate important information and ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Evaluate staff performance on a regular basis to ensure consistent high standards of service.
  • Interact with customers to promote hotel facilities and services, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor and maintain food quality and service standards, ensuring that all products meet our high standards.
  • Manage payroll and equipment costs, minimizing loss and misuse.
  • Ensure par stock levels are maintained, ordering and retrieving supplies as needed.
  • Utilize computer systems to accurately charge customers, create forecasts, and generate revenue reports.
  • Process payroll for events, including calculating hours worked and gratuity distribution.
  • Check staff attendance and adjust server stations as needed to provide quality service during functions.
