Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Career Welder to join our team at Advance Services, Inc. in the rail car industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform hand welding in all positions, including fillet and groove welding.
  2. Repair subassemblies for final product.
  3. Conduct oxy-fuel welding and carbon arc welding.
  4. Operate metal arc welding (mig/tig/solid wire/metal core) and flux core arc welding.
  5. Conduct one or two NDE tests.
  6. Perform railcar repairs.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  2. Experience with MIG and FCAW is required.
  3. FCAW (2G, 3G & 4G) certification.
  4. Ability to weld out of position (vertical & overhead).
  5. Physical strength and dexterity required.
  6. Ability to work in narrow or confined workspaces for extended periods.
