Nexteer Automotive Saginaw, Michigan Operations is seeking skilled professionals for Industrial Millwright/Tinner/Welder positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety-oriented individual with a strong focus on preventing accidents and injuries

• Self-starting team player with excellent technical and interpersonal skills

• Ability to coach and mentor fellow employees

Requirements:

• Journeyman's card or completion of a Department of Labor-certified program

• 8+ years of experience as an industrial Millwright/Tinner/Welder

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with industrial automotive equipment

• Proficiency in reading and understanding prints for layouts, fabrication, equipment installation, and maintenance

• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, operate equipment, and weld using various techniques

• Experience with heavy lifting fork trucks, mobile cranes, and rigging using chains, slings, and chokers

• Familiarity with power conveyors, roller conveyors, chain-driven conveyor belts, gearboxes, reducers, clutches, sprockets, couplings, bearings, and material handling equipment

• Ability to install, rearrange, and debug industrial equipment
