Job Summary

The Product Specialist is a key member of the Living Spaces team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. This role requires a strong focus on training and development, as well as the ability to execute company expectations and directives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Execute the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model to create a positive experience for customers, exceeding targeted Sales Per Hour (SPH) and driving company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Training and Development: Maintain a primary focus on training and development on sales proficiency processes, ensuring team members are equipped to meet company expectations.
  • Merchandising and Visuals: Oversee all aspects of merchandising, visual displays, and labeling to ensure a cohesive and engaging store environment.
  • Task Management: Ensure daily task lists are completed by store teams, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure inventory accuracy according to company asset protection standard work, maintaining a high level of stock control and minimizing losses.
  • Proficiency and Self-Assessment: Drive proficiency using the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model and Guest Satisfaction, self-assessing daily results and partnering with Leadership to improve performance.
  • Monthly Proficiency Plan: Complete a monthly proficiency plan by utilizing end-of-month sales reporting tools and self-assessing personal strengths and opportunities.
  • Culture Building: Help build a culture throughout the store that drives positive company outcomes, actively supporting and contributing to the team's goal of delighting customers and achieving revenue targets.
  • Tool Utilization: Utilize all tools to the company standard, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and processes.
  • Checkout and In-Process: Ensure checkout and in-process procedures are executed efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year of retail experience in a direct customer interactive environment, with high volume experience preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Experience in Microsoft Office programs, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
