Position Summary:

At VRC, we continually strive to enhance our organization by attracting top-tier talent. We are currently in search of a meticulous Compensation and Benefits Administrator to serve as the company's expert in payroll and benefits management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Benefits Management: Oversee comprehensive benefits administration, including onboarding new hires, managing life events, and facilitating open enrollment processes.
    • Administer all health, welfare, and retirement plan enrollments, premiums, and employee contributions.
    • Review monthly health, disability, and life insurance invoices for accuracy, coordinating with the Finance Department as necessary.
    • Contribute to the development of policies, processes, and guidelines related to benefits and payroll.
    • Manage ACA compliance, including tracking, enrollments, and distribution of 1095-C forms.
  • Payroll Administration: Manage the complete payroll process for over 250 employees across multiple states.
    • Process employee-related changes impacting payroll, such as new hires, terminations, and adjustments to W4s, pay rates, bonuses, and retirement contributions.
    • Ensure timely semi-monthly payroll disbursement, including deductions for garnishments, benefits, and taxes in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of compliance regulations and reporting requirements for benefits, payroll, and retirement plans.
  • Compile data and conduct audits to ensure the integrity of payroll and benefits.
  • Assist in the formulation of policies, processes, and guidelines for benefits and payroll.
  • Handle statutory reporting related to compensation and benefits.
  • Import and reconcile time-off data into ADP from the company's ERP system.
  • Support other duties as assigned by the Human Resources and Management teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with ADP payroll systems is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience with self-insured benefits is necessary.
  • Familiarity with multi-state and federal employment and payroll processing regulations.
  • Prior experience in the financial services or professional services sector is advantageous.
  • Exemplary organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
