Respiratory Therapist CRT Position
HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist CRT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the respiratory needs of patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Apply and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
- Maintain accurate records and enter information into the hospital computer system.
- Administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
Requirements:
- Completion of a vocational/technical program or an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate's Degree); Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
- American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider certification.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving equipment.
