Role Overview

We are in search of a meticulous and highly proficient Finance Specialist to become an integral part of our finance department. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering financial insights and aiding decision-making through comprehensive analysis and reporting.


Reporting Hierarchy

This position will report directly to the Finance Director and collaborate with other senior executives and designated team members.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in formulating budgets and financial forecasts; track actual performance against projected figures.
  • Data Analysis: Evaluate financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
  • Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis between actual outcomes and budget/forecast, identifying significant drivers and potential risks or opportunities.
  • US Payroll: Manage and administer US payroll processes.
  • Financial Modeling: Create and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and business development efforts.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost evaluations to assess business initiatives and projects, pinpointing cost-saving opportunities.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards; assist in both internal and external audits.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various departments to gather financial information and address their financial requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
  • Experience: A minimum of [X] years in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is preferred.
