Key Responsibilities

  • Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work to ensure conformance to standards
  • Oversee floor and carpet care employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties
  • Issue supplies and equipment as needed, maintaining a well-stocked inventory
  • Resolve worker issues and concerns, escalating matters to management as necessary
  • Perform duties of workers supervised, demonstrating a willingness to get hands-on and support the team
  • Directly supervise 2 to 50 employees, providing guidance and coaching to ensure success
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training employees, helping to build a strong and capable team
  • Plan, assign, and direct work, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet business objectives
  • Appraise employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to drive improvement
  • Address customer complaints and resolve problems, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of experience in supervision and floor care, with a proven track record of success
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in business and operations management
  • Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability
  • The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and standing for long periods
  • A clean background check and successful completion of a drug screen, in accordance with contractual obligations
