Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Group Home Assistant Staff Supervisor to join our team at Evergreen Life Services. As a key member of our Supported Living Home team, you will be responsible for assisting with the operations of our Supported Living Homes under the supervision of the Residential Supervisor and the general direction of the Program Coordinator/Area Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee work performance of direct support staff, including direct supervision and resolving problems at hand during the absence of specific instructions.
- Manage overtime and staffing issues.
- Perform duties related to the health of the individuals served, including scheduling medical appointments, monitoring medications, and ensuring all medical forms are completed in full.
- Ensure the welfare and safety of the individuals served by maintaining a clean and sanitary home environment.
- Monitor the individuals served petty cash, budget requirements, and expenditures.
- Ensure all policies, rules, and regulations are followed.
Requirements:
- A combination of education or experience equivalent to a 2-year degree in one of the behavioral sciences or experience in supporting individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to meet the public in a manner that reflects creditably upon the organization and maintain good working relationships with Evergreen staff and contacts from other agencies or entities.
- Ability to work without close personal supervision and work some evenings when required.
