Exciting Opportunity for Certified Radiology Technologists

Incentive: $3000 Sign-on Bonus

This bonus will be disbursed in three phases:

First payment after 120 days, second after 12 months, and third after 18 months for full-time staff. New hires must remain employed as a full-time associate to qualify for the complete sign-on bonus.

Position Overview

The Radiologic Technologist is tasked with executing general radiographic procedures as directed by a licensed healthcare provider. Compliance with all SC DHEC Title B Rules and Regulations for Radiation Control is essential.

This role acts as a crucial connection between patients, licensed practitioners, and other healthcare team members. Effective communication, assessment, monitoring, and care skills are vital to address patient needs. As integral members of the healthcare team, Radiologic Technologists participate in quality improvement initiatives and consistently assess their professional performance.

Essential Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT Registered as an RT(R)
  • SCRQSA Certification
  • Current CPR certification

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology

Preferred Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure precise radiographic positioning and exposure techniques
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and protection protocols
  • Maintain imaging equipment
  • Comprehend human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Conduct patient care activities
  • Prioritize patients based on their needs
  • Perform EKGs and pulse oximetry
  • Prepare surgical trays, clean instruments, and ensure sterilization
  • Administer injections
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock of examination rooms
  • Review lab results, identify irregularities, and communicate with physicians
  • Manage imaging supplies
  • Coordinate imaging appointments
  • Contact patients regarding abnormal lab results
  • Facilitate efficient communication for patient scheduling
  • Ensure accurate ordering of procedures and tests
  • Participate in educational seminars to remain current in medical imaging practices
  • Perform additional assigned duties as required
