Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing general radiographic procedures and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
  • Perform patient care activities, including vital sign collection, medical history, and escorting patients to examination rooms.
  • Triage patients according to severity of need and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections after demonstrating clinical competency.
  • Review lab reports, identify abnormalities, and alert physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Coordinate with the Practice Manager to maintain supplies and equipment necessary for imaging procedures.
  • Schedule imaging appointments for patients at other facilities, as directed by ordering physicians.
  • Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continually assess professional performance to maintain high standards of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered by ARRT as an RT (R).
  • SCRQSA Certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a physician practice.
