In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the planning and preparation for patient visits, ensuring all necessary schedules and test results are ready.
  • Room patients according to clinic protocols, documenting vital information such as chief complaints, vital signs, medication lists, and allergies.
  • Conduct necessary tests, including hearing and vision assessments, EKGs, and specimen collections, as per competency validation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical spaces, preparing and stocking rooms with required supplies.
  • Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments and perform clerical tasks, including photocopying and faxing.
  • Handle telephone communications and in-person patient screenings with appropriate follow-up.

Qualifications include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program is preferred
  • A minimum of six months of relevant experience or completion of an approved training program
