Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for transporting inpatients, outpatients, and other commodities as assigned. This role requires flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport patients, staff, and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Operate hospital vehicles and equipment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with patients, families, and staff
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient transportation and care
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry best practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous hospital transporting experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Basic English skills required with the ability to communicate effectively
