We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician II to join our team at Washington University in St. Louis. As a Dialysis Technician II, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis services.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and terminate dialysis treatments, perform phlebotomy, and maintain accurate records
- Arrange and maintain equipment and supplies for dialysis procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
- Monitor patient vital signs and dialysis treatment parameters, and respond to any changes or concerns
- Transport patients safely and assist with mobility as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months of experience in a hospital or outpatient healthcare setting
- CCHT certification by a nationally recognized board within 18 months of hire
- Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire
