Job Overview

The Valentis Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge to join our team in Washington DC. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information and taking messages.
  • Greet visitors and determine the nature and purpose of their visit, directing or escorting them to specific destinations.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment schedules and visitor logs.
  • Transmit information or documents to customers using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
  • Hear and resolve complaints from the public.
  • File and maintain records.
  • Provide information about the establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
  • Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries.
  • Analyze data to determine answers to questions from visitors or members of the public.
  • Keep a current record of staff members, clients, and residents' whereabouts and availability.
  • Schedule space or equipment for special programs and prepare lists of participants.
  • Take orders for supplies or materials and send them to the proper departments to be distributed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum educational level of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of three (2) or more years of customer service work experience is desired.
  • Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple assignments, and write effective, concise, and legible reports.
