Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and diagnose maintenance and repair needs for vehicles, collaborating with the Shop Foreman to provide labor time estimates to the Service Advisor.
  • Restore and repair transmissions and fuel systems.
  • Test fluid levels and perform oil and filter changes.
  • Mount and rotate tires as necessary.
  • Replace batteries and belts efficiently.
  • Repair cooling systems, steering mechanisms, and suspension components.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
  • Maintain vehicle longevity and functionality through routine care, adhering to dealership policies regarding customer vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of the onboarding process shortly after application submission.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical repairs is essential, with ASE certification preferred. Compensation is based on experience.
  • Familiarity with complex electronic vehicle systems.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation; effective communication skills are required.
  • In designated areas, appropriate safety gear must be worn, and a clean working environment must be maintained in compliance with company regulations.
