Senior Hardware Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our Embedded Electronics Design Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex circuit design projects within the Electronics Division.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop system architecture designs and detailed documentation
- Perform detailed electrical analysis, design, and schematic capture
- Manage PCB layout design resources and collaborate with ECAD teams
- Prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification, and performance characterization
- BSEE or MSEE degree preferred
- 7+ years of overall experience in electrical engineering
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience designing PCBs that integrate commercial state-of-the-art processors, FPGAs, and systems on a chip (SOCs)
- Experience with design of power distribution networks for state-of-the-art processors, FPGAs, or SOCs
- Simulation and verification of power distribution networks using tools like Ansys SIwave
- Design experience with high-speed communication and/or memory interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, DDR3/4, Multi-gigabit Transceivers)

Please note that active clearance is strongly preferred, but strong candidates without an active clearance will be considered if they can obtain a secret clearance upon starting this role.
