Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Management: Timely reporting of monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconciling all general ledger balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and fixed asset ledger to ensure financial integrity.
- Financial Analysis: Analyzing revenue and expense account activity to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Accounts Payable Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable system, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
- Office Supplies Management: Purchasing necessary office supplies to support business operations.
- Payroll Support: Providing backup for payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employee wages.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of related experience in accounting or finance.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer Work: Ability to work at a computer for 75% or more of the day.
- Agency Access: Ability to access all Agency sites.
- Background Check: Ability to obtain and maintain Agency and/or State of New Hampshire required background check(s).
- Confidentiality: Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and ability to maintain that confidence.
