Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Direct Care Specialist to join our team at the NEEDS Center. As a Direct Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible while enjoying all aspects of community living.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and support individuals in daily routines.
- Support residents in developing daily living skills, such as cooking and cleaning.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Implement clinical, educational, and vocational programs.
- Observe and record data for programs established in individual and behavior support plans.
- Participate with other team members to create a therapeutic environment that includes regular community membership.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with behavior management preferred.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team.

Pay: $20.00 per hour *if MAP certified*
