Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker III to join our team at the University of Texas at Dallas. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Assist with the upkeep of grounds and buildings, including landscaping and snow removal.
  • Conduct minor and major repairs of all buildings and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures on buildings and equipment.
  • Respond to emergencies during scheduled work hours and after hours, including weekends, as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; four years experience in general maintenance duties or trade school; licenses as required.
  • A minimum of three or more years in facility maintenance operations or related experience or training in building maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience with electrical, plumbing, inventory supervision, general building maintenance, and repair skills.
