Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication management and ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Review and Interpretation: Review and interpret medication orders to ensure safe and effective therapies.
  • Medication Counseling and Education: Provide medication counseling and education to both patients and healthcare staff.
  • Patient Monitoring and Care Planning: Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust treatments as needed.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, working with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Standards: Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain efficient operations.
  • Clinical Protocol Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (PhD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • A current Ohio Pharmacy License or eligibility for licensure is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.
