Job Overview:

As an Aquatic Program Supervisor at Genesis HealthCare, you will be instrumental in overseeing the comprehensive management of our Aquatics Program at designated locations. Your role encompasses the recruitment, training, scheduling, and supervision of aquatic personnel, including lifeguards, fitness instructors, and swimming lesson educators. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of aquatic facilities and the ongoing enhancement of our aquatic services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement directives as established by the Aquatics Director
  • Instruct all staff to conduct safe and effective aquatic classes
  • Guide instructors in member engagement and retention strategies
  • Plan and coordinate group class schedules
  • Maintain aquatic equipment and facility standards
  • Compile and review weekly aquatic performance reports with the Aquatics Director
  • Market classes and events to both internal and external audiences
  • Participate in staff meetings and club events
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with members and colleagues
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed in a timely manner
  • Respond swiftly to emergency situations
