Job Summary

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the airline's customer service operations, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of customer service staff, ensuring efficient and safe operation of ground support equipment.
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies in equipment functionality and mechanical issues.
  • Coordinate with airline carriers to ensure timely and efficient baggage and cargo handling.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations, as well as airport authority and carrier rules.
  • Confer with other supervisors and managers to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Determine manpower requirements and ensure disciplinary procedures are conducted fairly and consistently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of airline customer service principles.
  • Experience in airport ground handling operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as ability to navigate electronic devices.
  • Proven track record in supervising a business unit.
  • Experience in operational planning and resource allocation.
  • Working knowledge of GSE maintenance issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods.
  • Capable of repetitively lifting up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and exposure to loud noises.
Working Hours

Must be able to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays. Specific shifts to be determined.
