General Summary....

The Solutions Advisor uses their in-depth knowledge and understanding of facility layout, innovative automation solutions, MHE, IT systems, operational processes, and workflows to coordinate and lead the design of comprehensive solutions. The position uses their in-depth knowledge and understanding of engineering, operational flows, and system capabilities to lead teams that develop the full solution that ensures the business requirements are met, with the lowest cost that meets the customer needs, operational efficiency, and productivity standards.

This position will be responsible for.....

  • Aligning IT, Engineering, and Operations capabilities to form a solution that can be marketed, sold, and executed to meet customer needs.
  • Supporting the development of Statement of Work with customers, ensuring customer requirements, service levels, and integration points are clearly understood and communicated.
  • Reviewing customer contract documents, technical specifications, and data analytics to ensure correct operating models are designed and technologies selected to support customer requirements.
  • Supporting customer meetings, developing presentations communicating the solutions for Pre and Post sales that communicates an in-depth knowledge of FSC technical processes and operations.
  • Performing or leading teams for the IT system identification, gap analysis in relation to providing potential customers a full integrated supply chain solution.
  • Guiding and consulting with implementation teams that are responsible for delivering the solution using the FedEx Developed products and WMS solutions.
  • Working with customer implementation teams to resolve issues, and working with product management teams to deliver the solutions required for the timelines.
  • Responding to new business and customer enhancement opportunities, which includes response documents and supporting the inputs into pricing of strategic business solutions.
  • Communicating difficult issues and organizing the appropriate teams to work together to solve the issues quickly.
  • Engaging Sales, Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to validate new business scope and solution design.
  • Working with the Implementation and product development agile teams to define and review solution specifications for core and edge product enhancements and deliverables.
  • Communicating to all levels of leadership on project status, concerns, and risks around People, Service, and Profit while providing scientific data to allow for timely decision-making.
  • Acting as a customer advocate for the product and solutions, working with Architects and Product Management for comprehensive product that incorporates solution required to support implementation, core, and edge capabilities.
  • Collaborating with implementation teams to determine cross-program impacts, interdependency of work, and priorities, capacity, plans for communication, coordination, and delivery of implementation.
  • Interacting with Product managers and implementation agile team to review demos to validate the most critical aspects of a solution and ensuring the right systems solutions needed for customer implementations.
  • Building relationships and influencing leadership, customers, Architects, Product Managers, and customer implementation teams to deliver solutions that conform to repeatable standards.
  • Working to establish, maintain, and update strategy (methodology, processes, standards, tools, services) used in customer implementations.
  • Strong partnership and collaborating with IT and business teams to ensure timely customer value delivery.
  • Ensuring FedEx brand standards are upheld, particularly in the delivery of customer-facing standards.
