Job Summary

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering client-centered care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care and Assessment
    • Conduct thorough nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient
    • Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing lab draws
    • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
  • Medication Management
    • Administer medications as prescribed by the medical team, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring for potential side effects
    • Process point-of-care urine drug screens and other laboratory tests as required
    • Monitor and maintain accurate medication inventory records
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Team Collaboration and Professional Development
    • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
    • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure
    • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a chemical dependency or psychiatric setting, preferably in a detox unit and/or inpatient, partial hospitalization, and/or outpatient setting
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
