Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and direct patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and medical support staff, facilitating effective communication and care coordination.
  • Assist with various duties within the clinic, including verifying insurance benefits and assisting with referrals.
  • Collect payments and prepare cash for deposits, maintaining accurate financial records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; knowledge of managed care preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to operate a 10-key calculator, telephone, computer, copier, and fax machine.
  • Three or more years of experience in a healthcare organization, with advanced skills in ICD9 and CPT coding and experience with charge posting or collections.
