Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Synerfac. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices, timely training, and best practices
  • Develop training plans for service technicians
  • Develop Preventive Maintenance programs
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, and PLC programs
  • Mentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance, and directions to help them achieve their goals
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization
  • Provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work all days and shifts, including overtime
  • Experience and proficiency in automated conveyor systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, and CMMS programs
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, and industrial PC literacy
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with peers, management, contractors, and vendors
  • Highly self-motivated and customer-centric
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
  • 4 years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
  • Able to manage, lead, and influence others on the team
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload
  • Leadership experience/aptitude, ability to mentor and develop training plans for other service technicians
