This position is crucial for ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and within the designated budget. Compliance with current building regulations is essential. Strategic planning for material acquisition and labor management is a critical component of this role. The ability to anticipate challenges and effectively manage resources to ensure timely project delivery is vital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and promptly address job site hazards by enforcing company safety policies.
  • Utilize project scope to devise and implement effective plans for task completion.
  • Coordinate material procurement to ensure timely availability and minimize unnecessary trips for materials.
  • Manage the construction schedule and oversee daily activities.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant building and safety codes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure quality execution and maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Facilitate coordination among project staff and clients.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to optimize production schedules.
  • Order construction materials as required and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor workmanship quality closely, halting work when necessary and providing training to independent contractors.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
  • Employ creative problem-solving skills to address construction and budgetary challenges.
  • Conduct weekly goal-setting and safety meetings with on-site subcontractors.
  • Oversee construction scheduling for all project phases.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of roofing practices, tools, terminology, and safety measures (3-5 years of relevant supervisory experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
