  • Prepare check-in materials, distribute keys, and send confirmation emails for arrivals.
  • Welcome guests, manage check-ins, and settle accounts while adhering to service standards.
  • Identify guest needs and provide tailored recommendations for activities and amenities offered by the resort.
  • Stay informed about daily operations and events within the resort.
  • Utilize multiple systems to ensure accurate information regarding guest requests, bookings, and activities.
  • Access various booking platforms to verify reservations and ensure effective communication with guests.
  • Provide proactive service when interacting with guests via phone, email, or in person.
  • Address guest complaints effectively and find suitable resolutions.
  • Maintain organization and stock levels in the coffee room, front office closet, and back-office supplies.
  • Accurately complete and balance all billing, deposits, and guest charges.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Relay maintenance and housekeeping requests to the appropriate departments and follow up with guests.
  • Conduct property checks to assist with departures, deliver amenities, and inspect for any damages.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Prior experience in customer service is essential.
  • Experience with reservation systems is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Typing speed of approximately 40 words per minute.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly responsible and dependable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Focused on guest satisfaction, maintaining composure and courtesy at all times.
  • Adaptable to changes in the work environment and capable of handling unexpected situations.
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Enjoyment in interacting with the public, including phone communications.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience in the resort industry.
