About the Role

AEM is a leading provider of innovative environmental monitoring solutions, empowering communities and organizations to thrive in the face of escalating environmental risks.

As a Senior Environmental Solutions Executive, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by expanding AEM's presence within federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as other key accounts in the hydrology sector.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the hydrology or environmental sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans to target federal, state, and local governments, as well as other key accounts in the hydrology sector.
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and win business with key federal agencies and their state and local offices, ensuring engagement across multiple levels of government.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers within key agencies, hydrological institutions, and the private sector.
  • Navigate federal procurement processes, including FAR and contract vehicles, to accelerate opportunities and close contracts efficiently.
  • Promote AEM's suite of solutions, including hydrology sensors, early warning systems, and real-time data platforms, tailored to meet the critical water monitoring needs of government agencies and other hydrological accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, hydrology, environmental science, business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of hydrological monitoring solutions, water management technologies, and federal procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to support customers in identifying and securing grant funding for large-scale environmental projects.
  • Experience working with agencies such as USGS, BIA, US Army Corps of Engineers, and other key hydrological organizations is highly preferred.
