Job Opportunity for Gastroenterologists in Central Florida
Jackson + Coker is partnering with a reputable healthcare organization in Central Florida to fill multiple gastroenterologist positions for inpatient call coverage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology and be able to provide consistent, high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient call coverage for a 24-hour period
- See an average of 9-13 patients per day, including emergent/new consults, patient rounding, and procedures/scopes
- Work collaboratively with the existing GI physician on staff
- Participate in bread and butter GI coverage, with no ERCP/EUS required
- Provide NPDB self-query to ensure a smooth credentialing process
Requirements:
- Active Florida license and DEA required
- Board Certification or true eligibility required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
