Job Overview

Commence at $16/Hour with regular evaluations for salary increases every four months until reaching the maximum pay scale. This is a direct hire opportunity that includes outstanding benefits. The position involves 12-hour shifts, alternating between four shifts one week and three shifts the next. There are possibilities for career growth and training. Both day and night shifts are available, with an additional 75 cents per hour for hours worked between 7 PM and 7 AM.

OBJECTIVE

The aim is to execute packing responsibilities in a safe, organized, and efficient manner while ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality products.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adhere to product packaging specifications as outlined in work instructions and quality documentation.
  • Conduct quality assessments of products prior to packaging.
  • Place compliant products into boxes or gaylords.
  • Seal, label, and arrange boxes on pallets for collection by material handlers.
  • Maintain cleanliness at the packing station and surrounding areas.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Assist operators during line start-up or shut-down as needed.
  • Keep pace with high-speed machinery to meet productivity targets.
  • Communicate effectively with operators and team leaders.
  • Exhibit reliable attendance and dependability.
  • Be prepared to work overtime when necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with one to three months of related experience and training, or a comparable combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE AND MATH SKILLS

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Proficient in interpreting safety rules and operational guidelines. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers.


COMPUTER PROFICIENCY

Minimal computer skills are necessary, with the ability to access documents on an internal system.
