Primary Duties Include:
Overseeing project tasks, including planning, investigation, remediation, budgeting, and maintaining schedules, all while prioritizing quality, client satisfaction, and profitability;

Driving successful business development initiatives;

Formulating site-specific remediation and closure strategies for complex projects, including brownfield redevelopment;

Evaluating remediation options, conducting feasibility assessments, selecting technologies, and performing cost-benefit analyses for remedy implementation;

Maintaining client relationships, engaging in relevant professional organizations, and participating in industry events;

Supervising and mentoring junior professionals and managing subcontractors;

Preparing and managing technical documentation, including reports, plans, specifications, and proposals;

Writing, reviewing, and effectively managing project documentation;

Preparing for and engaging in meetings with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders; and


Occasionally, the role may involve fieldwork, including oversight of environmental sampling, subcontractors, and remediation system operations.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or a closely related field (required);

Advanced degree in environmental engineering or a related field (preferred);

Professional licensure or certification such as P.E. or P.G. (preferred);

Experience and Skills:
A minimum of 15 years of direct experience in environmental consulting or a related field (required);

Comprehensive understanding of applicable state and federal regulations (required);

Experience in managing multidisciplinary project teams (required);

A proven track record of technical responsibility for major project assignments (required);

Demonstrated success in client development and management (required);

Strong leadership capabilities and experience in practice development (required);

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, managing multiple projects, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling as necessary. (required)

Familiarity with emerging contaminants and innovative technologies (preferred);

Experience in environmental due diligence and regulatory compliance (preferred);

Project management experience, including resource allocation, quality control, technical oversight, and financial management (required);

Experience in mentoring and managing professional staff (preferred);

Strong oral communication and technical writing skills (preferred);

Fieldwork and overnight travel may be required.

Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be necessary.

Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred);

A valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required).
