Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of in-house pastries.
  • Set up cooking stations and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies.

  • Manage food inventory, ensuring freshness and compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all back-of-house areas.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and portioning ingredients.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Proficiency in relevant software is a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.

Work Environment:
This position involves working in a dynamic restaurant environment, requiring physical stamina and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exposure to various temperatures and kitchen equipment is expected.
