Job Summary

Bridge Coordination Services, LLC is seeking a part-time Victim Coordinator to provide direct services to victims of crime, primarily those experiencing intimate partner and family or household member violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support, empowerment, education, and assistance to victims through the criminal justice system process.
  • Offer case management services, including safety planning, emergency resources, housing and shelter resources, connection to support services, assistance obtaining interpreter services, legal assistance, and transportation.
  • Engage in trauma-informed practices and coordinate engagement between crime victims and investigators working on a criminal case.
  • Provide case-related follow-up as necessary and respond to telephone and walk-in requests.
  • Offer information, court process, and documents for victims to obtain protection orders.
  • Develop strong and effective working relationships with law enforcement personnel and prosecutors.
  • Maintain case files, records, and track statistics related to each case.
  • Provide training to law enforcement, community, and other community professionals on victim services.
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for review.
Requirements
  • Effective communication skills, clear and concise writing skills, and ability to collaborate with others.
  • Ability to effectively work within diverse communities.
  • A willingness to learn various aspects of the criminal justice system, police procedure, criminal law, and working with victims of crime.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, assignments, and case follow-up.
  • Must be organized and able to be flexible to respond to emergent cases.
  • Ability to use computers with Microsoft Office products and general office equipment.
  • Willingness to attend additional training courses and seminars.

Pay and Schedule
  • $20.50 to $24.50 per hour DOE
  • Increase after 90-day probationary period

  • Hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9-2:30
  • Total of 15 hrs per week
