The primary aim is to foster a safe, nurturing, and structured atmosphere for all residents, while adapting to their evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with the Program Manager, providing timely and accurate information to maintain a safe and organized home.
  • Support program participants in achieving success and ensuring compliance with program requirements.
  • Address and document any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Facilitate the education and practice of skills necessary for successful independent and community living.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of life skills training within the home and agency.
  • Act as a role model for young adults, demonstrating responsible behaviors and providing encouragement and support.
  • Participate in onboarding and problem-solving for participants as needed.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of life skills training initiatives.
  • Reinforce and develop life skills through direct instruction and assistance with tasks such as household chores, cooking, and budgeting for groceries.
  • Lead or participate in house meetings to discuss rules, plan activities, and address group needs.
  • Provide feedback on participant needs and facilitate follow-up actions.
  • Maintain awareness of resident and visitor activities to ensure safety and compliance with home rules.
  • Offer occasional transportation support for participants attending appointments.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and address program areas requiring special attention, ensuring operational goals are met.
  • Support individual participant goals as needed.
  • Coordinate with landlords and contractors regarding maintenance issues, ensuring timely reporting.
  • Respond to the on-call phone as necessary during shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
