Job Summary

Creative Speech Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a pediatric specialist, you will work with children with a wide range of diagnoses and abilities, providing evaluations and direct therapy in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify children's strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address sensory processing disorders, motor planning difficulties, decreased strength, and gross motor skills
  • Collaborate with speech therapists, school therapists, and teachers to ensure comprehensive support for children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless transition of care
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of treatment plans, progress notes, and evaluations
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Satisfactory completion of Certification Examination of National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapists (Maintenance of registration required)
  • NJ State License and NJ BOE School Certificate
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in pediatric/high school setting
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
