Data Center Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Data Center Technician to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the operations and maintenance at the client's data center.

Responsibilities
  • Support all data center engineering and technology operations
  • Facility and grounds maintenance
  • Site support functions
  • Operational performance readiness, reliability, and integrity of mission-critical infrastructure systems and IT systems
Requirements
  • Knowledge of power tools
  • Ability to follow precise instructions
  • Material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management
  • Detailed physical inventory tracking and staging
  • Ability to read and understand cabling maps
  • Data Center pre-cabling to industry standards
  • Lifting over 50lbs
  • Ability to work at different heights, in confined spaces, and on different surfaces
  • Working knowledge of creating, closing, and tracking work orders
  • Initiate or respond to work orders, follow up, and verify completion
  • Manage or navigate various client-based applications
  • Ability to use mobile application technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
