Position Overview:
The Radiology Technologist operates advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients under the direct order of a physician. This role requires expertise in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating rooms, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency departments, and outpatient procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce quality radiographs of designated body parts.
- Work in various hospital settings, including pediatrics, operating rooms, and emergency departments.
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of radiation safety procedures.
- Participate in call-back rotations at multiple sites.
Requirements:
- 1 year of clinical experience in radiology, preferred.
- Graduate degree in Radiologic Technology, required.
- Registered Technologist for Radiography certification, required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification, required.
Work Schedule:
This role requires working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am, with every weekend rotation.
