Generator Maintenance and Repair Technician Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Generator Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team at Power Plus, a leading provider of power solutions. As a key member of our Generator Service & Maintenance Division, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and testing generators ranging from 5 kw to 4000kw.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test 5kw – 4000kw generator systems
  • Interact with customers to provide best-in-class service
  • Correctly fill out paperwork and documentation
  • Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Requirements

  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators
  • Technical schooling or equivalent experience in automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric, or military experience a plus
  • Willingness to learn and use new technologies
  • Able to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes in accordance with OSHA regulations

Total Estimated Compensation: $73,300 - $130,500
