About the Position

Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality design and implementation of propulsion systems.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to manage projects, focusing on timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Budget Management: Effectively manage budgets and resources to drive business growth and success.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure consistent high-quality output.
Requirements
  • A U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing electric propulsion systems for spaceflight.
  • Strong understanding of electric propulsion systems, including thrusters, power electronics, feed systems, and gimbals.
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes for aerospace-grade materials and components.
  • Experience in testing electric propulsion systems.
