Experienced Mercedes-Benz Technician Wanted

Rallye Mercedes, a premier Mercedes-Benz dealership on Long Island, is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of vehicle quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on Mercedes-Benz vehicles with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to factory standards.
  • Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and recommend/reperform appropriate repairs.
  • Identify and communicate necessary repair or maintenance items not included on the repair order.
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
  • Notify the service advisor of any additional work required or if repairs cannot be completed by the promised time.
  • Clearly document all work performed.
  • Road test vehicles as required or refer to the inspection technician as necessary.
Requirements:
  • A clean and valid New York State Driver's License.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Professional appearance and ability to work well with others.
  • NYS inspectors license.
  • At least 3 years of MB experience.
  • Proficient in Netstar, Xentry, and WIS.
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, and diagnostic equipment.
