About the Role

Rallye Acura is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Parts Counter Person to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting the sales of Acura parts and accessories, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers, providing timely and accurate support to meet their needs.
  • Promote the sales of Acura parts and accessories by identifying customer needs and promoting the benefits of using genuine Acura parts.
  • Use parts equipment and information resources to accurately identify needed parts and ensure timely delivery.
  • Achieve retail facility goals for parts sales by generating high sales of Acura parts and accessories, processing counter tickets and repair orders efficiently, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Handle orders and requests for information efficiently via telephone and over-the-counter customers, understanding the Acura parts system and ordering procedure.
  • Maintain and prepare records by handwriting invoices, maintaining customer back-order files, and receiving/duplicating repair orders.
  • Maintain inventory on shelves and in bins by reporting items needing to be reordered, identifying any discrepancies in stock levels, and returning unsold items to stock.
  • Order non-stock or special order parts by preparing parts requisitions for these items.
  • Follow up on special ordered items, and notify the customer and technicians when received.
  • Follow up the sales process by issuing parts and accessories to mechanics and providing delivery service of orders using parts truck.

Requirements
  • Clean and valid driver's license.
  • A minimum of 2 years dealership parts experience is required.
  • CDK System experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills.
  • Outgoing and patient personality with outstanding customer relations ability.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
