Technology and Facility Controls Engineer

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Technology and Facility Controls Engineer to join the engineering team at a private estate in Fort Worth, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced technology systems, including home automation, security, and surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement home automation systems, including lighting, security, and entertainment systems
  • Manage and standardize mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs
  • Set up and configure laptops, PCs, and other computing equipment
  • Test and program home audio systems
  • Install dashboard cameras in a fleet of vehicles
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Wi-Fi networks and access points
  • Set up and test surveillance equipment, including IP cameras and thermal cameras
  • Work on-site during regular business hours, with occasional after-hours and weekend work as needed
  • Travel to other properties for IT setup and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills and experience with automation systems, networking, and security
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
