We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Installer to join our team. As a Fire Installer, you will be responsible for assisting the Lead Fire Installer with conducting service, maintenance, and repairs on fire systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Fire Installer in performing repairs, maintenance, and testing of fire systems and associated devices.
  • Learn and follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment/system.
  • Complete inspection reports and repair documents with proper coding through communication devices such as smartphones, laptop computers, and/or hard copy.
  • Follow and maintain a highly structured service schedule.
  • Perform duties with the safety of yourself and your colleagues and customers in mind 100% of the time.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to work away from home 2 weeks out of a month.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Able to work well with others.
  • Self-starter who can eventually work with little to no supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Basic computer skills – Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) along with smartphone skills.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and willing to work with scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
  • Able to work flexible hours including alternate shifts or weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Able to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Able to participate and successfully complete the apprenticeship program.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
  • Understands the importance of providing quality service, inspection, and technical installation support.
  • Experience with hand tools.
