Fire Protection Systems Supervisor

Salary Range: $56,000 - $100,000 (Based on Experience) + Benefits
BBSI Southern California is collaborating with a premier fire protection systems provider in the region, aiming to expand our operations. We are in search of a skilled Fire Protection Systems Supervisor to oversee our installation teams.
Role Summary
As a Fire Protection Systems Supervisor, you will be essential in ensuring the safety of individuals through the accurate installation of fire suppression systems across various construction sites. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong dedication to quality, as your contributions directly influence safety outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Compliance: Direct the installation of fire suppression systems, ensuring all work complies with NFPA13 standards and upholds the highest safety and quality benchmarks.
Analysis & Implementation: Review project specifications and fire safety codes to guarantee seamless integration into construction plans, making necessary adjustments on-site to ensure compliance with fire inspection requirements.
Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide junior staff, promoting their professional growth and ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
Communication & Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between design teams and field crews, effectively communicating project changes and ensuring alignment with both design specifications and safety protocols.
Safety & Standards: Uphold strict adherence to company safety policies and operational procedures, while actively seeking opportunities for further education and training to enhance knowledge and prioritize team safety and project success.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire suppression system installation
- Thorough understanding of NFPA13 regulations and possession of Cal Fire fitter certification
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and fire safety codes
- Experienced in operating pipe threading machines and various mechanical tools safely
- Strong documentation skills, including timesheets, work tickets, and inspection reports
- Excellent communication skills with clients and team members
- Proven problem-solving abilities with experience in managing change orders
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing work environments
- Commitment to maintaining safety practices in all settings
- High school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license
