POSITION SUMMARY:
The Retail Sales Consultant plays a vital role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, where our core values and guiding principles drive all store activities, ensuring an exceptional customer journey and optimal profitability.

Achieving Sales Goals
- Attains company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product knowledge with customers; suggests merchandise options or assists in locating items based on customer preferences.
- Keeps abreast of current promotions and sales; upholds pricing and visual presentation standards.
- Adheres to standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other tasks as directed by Management.
- Engages in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store layouts and maintenance.
- Exemplifies and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, delivering a seamless omni-channel experience.
- Ensures timely resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
- Facilitates a quick and efficient checkout process, staying informed on policies regarding payments, promotions, returns, and security measures.
- Encourages purchasing decisions at the register and meets add-on sales targets, including gift card promotions.
- Enrolls clients in loyalty programs.
- Develops and nurtures a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
- Remains knowledgeable about current product fits and style offerings available in-store and online.
- Maintains ongoing communication with clients through a customer relationship management system.
- Aids in replenishment tasks to ensure the store remains well-stocked and appealing.
- Assists with locating and fulfilling customer orders.
- Supports visual merchandising efforts, including floor setups, window displays, and signage placement as instructed.
- Contributes to the cleanliness and organization of the boutique.
- Fosters an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Capable of learning and adapting to company-provided technology.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and Management.
- Regular attendance is crucial for this role to ensure adequate staffing to meet company goals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent walking and standing throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift).
- Regular climbing (34%-66% of the shift).
