Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Executive to join our team at the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority.

This is a senior-level role that requires exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen to drive enterprise security services while ensuring compliance with various regulations and frameworks.

The successful candidate will lead multiple security initiatives, assess vulnerabilities, plan and implement security measures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect our computer networks and systems from security breaches and attacks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage technical solutions to adhere to compliance frameworks and regulations such as PCI-DSS, NIST, and others.
  • Analyze and respond to tier II and III security relevant alerts and events.
  • Manage PCI compliance, including knowledge of complying with PCI standards.
  • Gather and analyze PCI-related requirements, providing recommendations and documentation.
  • Collect, assess, and report on threat intelligence and actionable security information, modifying tactical operations accordingly.
  • Maintain network firewall security work standards, resolving operational problems and identifying process improvements.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with firewalls, VPN gateways, wireless networks, and VLANs.
  • Analyze firewall security requirements, studying user needs and conducting system security and vulnerability analyses.
  • Assess network traffic patterns and session data for indicators of malicious activity.
  • Identify business risk and advise contacts on treating such risk.
  • Support automation and improvement of the overall Information Security posture.
  • Execute remediation plans for audit gaps and recommended process improvements.
  • Serve as a leader in the technical space, seeking out new solutions and understanding risk-based prioritization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or relevant field of study.
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of a high school diploma may be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in computing and information security, including Internet technology, security technology, issue resolution, and leading teams.
  • Valid Class D driver's license.
Estimated Salary Range:

$84,911-$115,526
